Are you new here? Welcome!

You are welcome at St. Peter’s Church! Whatever it is that brought you through our red doors, we are glad you are here. God is up to something new, and this is a place to discover, explore, and grow in your faith, wherever it is you come from.

Below you'll find great ways to discover your community and your next steps toward Jesus!

Gathering for Worship

As a community of faith, we gather regularly for worship. Whether you are here on a regular Sunday or visiting during a holiday or special service like baptism, our worship is vibrant, faithful, and spiritually nourishing.

Sunday | 8:00 AM

This is a simple service in the Church with communion and no music, lasting about 50 minutes total.

Sunday | 10:00 AM

This is a service in the main Church with communion, hymns, and music by choir and/or bells. This service is also streamed on our YouTube channel.

Compline | 8:00 PM

This brief evening service is offered on Facebook Live each Sunday and Friday.

Special & Seasonal Services

From the dramatic liturgies of Palm Sunday and Holy Week to the joyful services at Easter and Christmas, we offer a wide variety of special liturgies throughout the year. In addition to the Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter liturgies there are special services for St. Francis Day in early October, All Souls in early November, Pentecost in the late spring, and other times of the year as announced.

Learning and Growing Together

As we grow in our faith, we continue to be formed as disciples, or followers, of Jesus Christ. This is a lifelong journey! No matter where you are in this journey, there is a place for you here at St. Peter’s.

We learn together, in worship and in small groups, and we support individual exploration as well. Each person brings different gifts and different experiences to our community.

Making a Difference

As a community of faith we are called to be Christ’s heart and hands in the world. We start right here in Freehold, as we minister with each other and with our neighbors. Faith in action is foundational to our life at St. Peter’s, and we have several ministries that feed, cloth, and shelter those in need.

And the king will answer them, ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it to me.’
— Matthew 25:40
