All of God’s creatures (appropriately caged or leashed if not human) are invited to join us for our annual celebration of St. Francis of Assisi with the Blessing of the Animals. Yes, pets in church! The 8 am service is pet-free. The 10 am service is pet-friendly. We give thanks for God’s gift of creation, for the witness of Saint Francis, and for our treasured animals with hymns, lessons, and prayers to celebrate the day. At the end of the service, the animals gather with their people for their blessing. All are welcome!
