The St. Peter's community has begun a visioning process to develop a replacement for our aging Parish House so that our public spaces can be accessible, flexible, and attractive in order to meet the needs of ministry in Freehold. We developed pros and cons for refurbishing the existing parish house or buidling a new structure and asked the congregation for their feedback.
A survey involving two-thirds of the membership in May revealed that 90% of the respondants favor replacing the Parish House with a new building that will include a parish hall, kitchen, and meeting rooms. You can review the summary, full report, and frequently asked questions in the links below.
We are now in the second phase of our building effort, which will develop proposals for moving forward to present to Vestry and the congregation in early fall.
We welcome you to join us on this exciting journey! You can keep up with our progress by reading the files below, holding us in prayer, and contributing your own ideas as the opportunities arise.
