The Peppercorn is the newsletter of St. Peter's Church. According to church folklore, when the land grant for St. Peter's Church was established by the King of England, the cost of the yearly lease was one peppercorn. Evidently, the rent was never collected... (although at least one parish priest did attempt to make payment in the form of a bag of peppercorns!)
