The Keith Building
Just down Throckmorton Street from the Old Rectory stands a commercial building, named in honor of the missionary priest who founded St. Peter’s Church in 1702, George Keith. Today, the mission of the Church supports the many important community outreach ministries housed in the Keith Building by offering safe and centrally located space at reasonable rates. Those organizations include:
- St. Peter's Thrift Shop at 47-49 Throckmorton Street is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The shop stocks gently used clothing, shoes, household goods, books, small appliances, bric-a-brac and seasonal décor. Frequently, brand-new items are available for a fraction of their original retail price. Volunteers for the Church and the community sort, price, and display items for sale. Proceeds are used to fund the ministries of St. Peter’s Church. For more information, contact Sylvia Johnson at 732.462.9264. Check us out on FACEBOOK
