Music has always played a vital role at St. Peter's Church. To provide the music at all of our services, we have several different groups including choirs, bell choirs, and even a praise band. For children, we have the Jubilation Choir and the Bellissima Ringers. Adults may enjoy participating in the St. Peter's Choir or King's Peal. St. Peter's is also proud to be one of the few churches in the diocese to have our own praise band: Peter's Rock.

He put a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear,
and put their trust in the Lord.
— Psalm 40:3

Ensembles

St. Peter's Choir

The St. Peter's Choir provides music primarily at the 10:00 am service and all feast day services. The focus of their music is primarily that of the Anglican tradition, although they are versatile in a number of styles. Rehearsals are held every Thursday at 7:30 pm in the choir room.

King's Peal

King's Peal is our adult bell choir which performs periodically during the program year. Rehearsals are held every Monday at 7:30 pm in the church.

Bellissima Ringers

Children from 3rd grade and above form our Bellissima Ringers. The Bellissima Ringers perform several times during the year and rehearse on Mondays at 6:30 pm in the church.

Peter's Rock

Peter's Rock was formed in 2003 to provide music for our first annual Tent Revival. It proved to be so popular that the band became a regular part of the weekly worship experience when we had our 9:00 am service each Sunday.  Currently, Peter's Rock can be heard once a month at our 10:00 am service and occasionally at special services. The band provides a contemporary sound to the liturgy, but can sometimes be heard outside of St. Peter's. Rehearsals are every Wednesday at 7:30 pm in the church.  Musicians are welcome.
