Brittany Montoro
Director of Music & Organist

A native of Roanoke, Virginia, Brittany Montoro (they/them) earned their Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition at Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia and their Master of Music in Sacred Music, Organ at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey. Brittany maintains an active schedule as a private lesson instructor, professional organist, pro chorister, accompanist, conductor, and vocal coach. An active member of the Philadelphia American Guild of Organists, they have performed regularly in the Mid-Atlantic region. Brittany played most recently in 2017 as a recitalist at Princeton University and in 2016 as a recitalist at their Alma Mater at Lynchburg College for their organ restoration project. Brittany is delighted to be a part of the ministry at St. Peter’s, Freehold, having served in the community as the music director at First United Methodist Church in Freehold from 2012-2016.
